Privacy:
SafeScreen.co.uk respects and ensures absolute confidentiality for all customers and clients.
• Names and addresses are used solely for the purposes of product delivery.
• SafeScreen.co.uk does not disclose buyer information to third parties, other than when order details are processed as part of the fulfilment process.
• SafeScreen.co.uk will collect information about you to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service only.
• As a customer, we may e-mail you from time to time to give you details of new products or to warn you the home health test you purchased from us is close to its expiry date. If you do not wish to receive e-mails from us, please send an e-mail to remove@safescreen.co.uk and you will be immediately removed from our mailing list.
• All or any information that we collect about you will be done so in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998.
• Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart or store delivery addresses if the address book is used. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that depend on the use of cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login).
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases.
Home test kits from SafeScreen.co.uk will be shipped in unmarked packaging, giving no indication of the contents.
Delivery:
Packaging on all orders is made with the utmost discretion, packed by us 7 days a week in plain discreet, padded jiffy bags or parcels with no company advertising or logo, ensuring total privacy of products purchased. We specialise in offering a very discrete, ultra reliable and fast service.
All home tests kits are shipped by Royal Mail First Class Service
• We aim to get your order to the next Royal Mail collection after you order is received. Please note that this is not a guarantee of next working day delivery. If you require the goods urgently please select one of our express delivery options at the checkout. Please allow between 2-5 working days for UK delivery, with 3-14 days for international orders within Europe. Orders received from the U.S are posted from within the U.S and are passed on to our partners.
• If you are shopping from another country other than the UK, you will be charged shipping based on the entire weight of your order. This is calculated using Royal Mail's current price rates. Shipping charges will automatically be added to your order before dispatch.
• International orders must by law include a customs label. The contents will be stated as “Medical Supplies – Non Pharmaceutical”
• Shipping prices are calculated based on total weight of the order and can be selected during the checkout procedure.
• Customers not receiving their order within 7 days for UK (or 14 days for international) should notify customer services via e-mail, with details of your basket and transaction number. (Please contact customerservices@safescreen.co.uk)
• Please ensure you use a valid and current e-mail address when ordering, as you will receive a confirmation and reference number relating to your purchase. Retain these details until your order has been delivered and please quote these in any correspondence with us.
• Occasionally your order will be sent in multiple parcels, this may be due to stock levels or a difficulty in combining items.
• We reserve the right to decline orders where the address is incomplete or to un-registered business addresses, shared mail drop points or PO boxes. We reserve the right to change postal methods if circumstances require it.
• PLEASE NOTE: Many of our larger packs require a signature upon delivery. Where a "signed for" service is used, we will e-mail the parcel reference number to you upon request.
• ROYAL MAIL FIRST CLASS RECORDED PARCEL: Dispatched with the next available Royal Mail collection. Delivery in 1-3 working days. Trackable & insured with signature POD.
• EXPRESS DELIVERY UK: Priority packing and dispatching of the order with the next available Royal Mail collection, for the following working day (UK mainland) delivery before 1pm (post code restrictions apply. please see www.royalmail.com for restrictions and further details)
• We will make every effort to deliver your order within the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time which we quote for that item, please contact us.
• Should there be a delay in delivery, we will notify you within 24 hrs. You will be advised of the expected delivery date or if the product is no longer available you will be given the option to cancel your order (or accept an alternative product.)
How to Make a Purchase:
• To find a product follow the categorised links using our menus on the left of our home page.
• When you find a product you want click the 'Add to Basket' button and choose the quantity you want. You can add as many products as you like to your basket.
• Once you have finished shopping simply click the 'Go to Checkout & Pay' button on the top right of the page.
• You will be asked for your name, contact and delivery details before being asked for your credit or debit card details.
• After completing the checkout process you will be sent an email to confirm we have received your order.
• All tests are despatched in plain, unmarked packaging, including the carton.
Payment and Prices:
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and postage. For international orders delivery costs are shown at check-out, prior to order placement.
• SafeScreen.co.uk accepts your order once payment is cleared at the check-out. As part of the check-out process, you are requested to accept our terms, conditions and disclaimers, described herein, and such order placement is deemed conclusive evidence of your acceptance of said terms, conditions and disclaimers.
• Credit or debit card payment is via PayPal who are accredited by Qualified Security Assessors to the highest possible standard available under the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) scheme and operate 3D Secure protocol, developed to improve the security of Internet payments.
Disclaimer & Limits of Liability:
SafeScreen.co.uk cannot be held responsible for the misuse of any products sold on the website, or the results of any home tests, howsoever used, whether accurate or inaccurate, or related or consequential loss, damage or expenses, whether related to persons or goods, howsoever caused.
• Home test kits cannot be considered as 100% accurate and are not meant as a replacement or substitute for a suitably qualified medical practitioner. If you are worried by your symptoms, you should seek advice from a suitable medical professional and not rely on this product.
• In any circumstances, SafeScreen.co.uk (or any of its subsidiaries companies and employees) shall have no liability to offer compensation other than to refund the amount paid by you for the ordered goods.
• The information contained on this web site is intended for general use only and should NOT take the place of a visit to a doctor, nor should it substitute the advice of your doctor.
• You should carefully read all information provided by the product manufacturers included with all goods supplied before using any product that you have purchased from us. For the treatment or diagnosis of any medical condition, consultation with a doctor is strongly recommended.
• The tests available on this site are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Home testing is best used for EARLY detection of a condition. Your own GP or other health care professional should diagnose your healthcare problems and prescribe treatment.
Returns
Items may be returned within 28 days of purchase. Items should be complete packs, un-opened and unused. If you require to return a product please contact customer services to obtain a return code and instructions on how to proceed.
• Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
• Orders can only be cancelled if such cancellation instructions are received by SafeScreen.co.uk prior to dispatch of the order.
• Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If the goods are damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a returns authorisation number. All claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of your order and there are no returns after thirty days. Please ensure you clearly state the reason you would like a return or a replacement. You will receive a refund within 30 days of cancellation. Shipping/Delivery charges will not be refunded unless they are faulty or there has been an error on our part.
• Due to the nature of the products we sell, returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for a refund. All original packaging must be intact and unopened. Temperature sensitive items such as ovulation and pregnancy tests are not returnable, nor are any products for oral or vaginal use. It is illegal to send through the mail any goods contaminated with human urine or blood.
• Before a product is returned you must get email confirmation first. Return shipping/delivery costs and any applicable insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will only be issued once we have the goods back in our possession.
• We reserve the right to apply a re-stocking fee of up to 15% of the order value to cover delivery costs and merchant service fees incurred.
• Goods will not be accepted 30 days after dispatch date.
• The return postage must be covered by the customer.
• The customer details must be clearly displayed and a reason for the return must also be clearly displayed.
• A copy of the original invoice must also be sent with the returned product.
• We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
• We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
• You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
• We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Due to the nature of the Internet, the on-line shopping service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
• Please note that, once opened and or used, products cannot be returned to us unless they are faulty.

• You may view, copy and print portions of our website for the sole purpose of placing an order with us. The materials on our website may not be used for any other purpose.
